The extremely slow cooling and heat generation of PCMs is intensified by combination with porcelain or ceramic and the temperature is distributed evenly over the surface.

The combination of PCM-filled base and porcelain ensures an almost constant temperature at the surface of the plate. The plate cools down evenly and extremely slowly (a temperature of 4-10 °C for a duration of 6 hours) and freezing of the cooled items is avoided.
